Enable Web Punching with No IP Restrictions

Enabling this feature will give your employees access to punch in and out using the cloud portal.

Notes:

• Supervisors can be configured with permissions to view and/or edit employees.  Their responsibility can also be limited to certain departments, thereby limiting which employee profiles they can access.
• IP address restrictions can be imposed on your employees' ability to access the web portal.
• Configure your whole team for web punching using the Utility tool.
• Provide the ability for employees to view their timecard if you're setting them up for web punching.

To configure web punching for an employee:

1. Log in to the uAttend cloud portal with an administrator or supervisor (with permissions) profile.
2. Click on the People tab.
3. Click on the name of the intended employee or click the magnifying glass icon in the upper right corner of the window to search for an employee.
4. Enter the employee's email address in the Contact Information section. If they already have an email address entered, skip to step 6.
5. Click the Invite User hyperlink. 
6. Click the Punch Management tab from the navigation panel on the left.
7. Click the slider button to select Enable/Disable web punching for this employee.
8. Click the SAVE button.
