Edit Shifts at the employee level Follow
Adjust a shift for an individual directly from their profile. Shifts will need to be enabled at the employee level.
Notes:
- Supervisors can be configured with permissions to view and/or edit employees. Their responsibility can also be limited to certain departments, thereby limiting which employee profiles they can access.
- At the employee level, you can assign a rate to a shift that may be different than their base hourly rate configured on their profile.
To edit a shift for an employee:
- Log in to the uAttend cloud portal with an administrator or supervisor (with permissions) profile.
- Click on the People tab.
- Click on the name of the intended employee or click the magnifying glass icon in the upper right corner of the window to search for an employee.
- Click the Punch Management tab from the navigation panel on the left.
- Click the Shifts tab from the navigation panel on the top.
- Click the name of the intended Shift to edit.
- Click on the Assignments tab.
- Check/uncheck the box to select/deselect the employee assigned this shift.
- Enter a Shift Rate (if applicable) for this employee.
- Click on the Alarms tab.
- Click the drop-down menu for Early In and select an option (1-60 minutes) from the list.
- Click the drop-down menu for Late In and select an option (1-60 minutes) from the list.
- Click the drop-down menu for Early Out and select an option (1-60 minutes) from the list.
- Click the drop-down menu for Late Out and select an option (1-60 minutes) from the list.
- Enter the email address(es) and/or mobile phone number, along with a timeframe to mute (if applicable) for these alarm notifications.
- Check the boxes to enable the Missing Break Punch and/or Missing Lunch Punch alarms.
- Enter the email address(es) and/or mobile phone number, along with a timeframe to mute (if applicable) for these alarm notifications.
- Click the SAVE AND CLOSE button.
