Device menu (BN6000N, BN6500N) Follow

You will need the timeclock admin and super admin PIN passcodes to access the timeclock menus.  Reach out to the Administrator for your account regarding this information.

To check and update the software version, follow these steps (BN6000N, BN6500N) :

  1.   Press the MENU key.
  2.   Enter the five-digit administrator passcode.
  3.   Press OK.
  4.   Use the up and down arrows to scroll to Device. 
  5.   Press OK.
  6.   Use the up and down arrows to scroll to Software Update.
  7.   Press OK. 
  8.   The device will check for a new version and prompt you to update if a new version is available. 
  9.   Press OK to enter your selection or ESC to go back.

 

To edit the time zone, follow these steps (BN6000N, BN6500N) :

  1.   Press the MENU key.
  2.   Enter the five-digit administrator passcode.
  3.   Press OK.
  4.   Use the up and down arrows to scroll to Device. 
  5.   Press OK.
  6.   Use the up and down arrows to scroll to Time Settings.
  7.   Press OK. 
  8.   Use the up and down arrows to scroll to Time Zone. 
  9.   Press OK.
  10.   Use the up and down arrows to scroll to the intended time zone option.
  11.   Press OK to enter your selection.

 

To edit the date format, follow these steps (BN6000N, BN6500N) :

  1.   Press the MENU key.
  2.   Enter the five-digit administrator passcode.
  3.   Press OK.
  4.   Use the up and down arrows to scroll to Device. 
  5.   Press OK.
  6.   Use the up and down arrows to scroll to Time Settings.
  7.   Press OK. 
  8.   Use the up and down arrows to scroll to Date Format. 
  9.   Press OK.
  10.   Use the up and down arrows to scroll to the intended date format option.
  11.   Press OK to enter your selection.

 

To turn the key sounds on or off, follow these steps (BN6000N, BN6500N) :

  1.   Press the MENU key.
  2.   Enter the five-digit administrator passcode.
  3.   Press OK.
  4.   Use the up and down arrows to scroll to Device. 
  5.   Press OK.
  6.   Use the up and down arrows to scroll to Sound Settings.
  7.   Press OK. 
  8.   Use the up and down arrows to scroll to Key Sounds. 
  9.   Press OK.
  10.   Use the up and down arrows to scroll to On or Off.
  11.   Press OK to enter your selection.

 

To turn the volume up or down, follow these steps (BN6000N, BN6500N) :

  1.   Press the MENU key.
  2.   Enter the five-digit administrator passcode.
  3.   Press OK.
  4.   Use the up and down arrows to scroll to Device. 
  5.   Press OK.
  6.   Use the up and down arrows to scroll to Sound Settings.
  7.   Press OK. 
  8.   Use the up and down arrows to scroll to Volume Level. 
  9.   Press OK.
  10.   Use the up and down arrows to turn the volume Up or Down.
  11.   Press OK to enter your selection or press ESC to go back.

 

To change the voice notification option, follow these steps (BN6000N, BN6500N) :

  1.   Press the MENU key.
  2.   Enter the five-digit administrator passcode.
  3.   Press OK.
  4.   Use the up and down arrows to scroll to Device. 
  5.   Press OK.
  6.   Use the up and down arrows to scroll to Sound Settings.
  7.   Press OK. 
  8.   Use the up and down arrows to scroll to Voice. 
  9.   Press OK.
  10.   Use the up and down arrows to scroll to the intended voice option.
  11.   Press OK to enter your selection or press ESC to go back.

 

To edit the sleep mode timer, follow these steps (BN6000N, BN6500N) :

  1.   Press the MENU key.
  2.   Enter the five-digit administrator passcode.
  3.   Press OK.
  4.   Use the up and down arrows to scroll to Device. 
  5.   Press OK.
  6.   Use the up and down arrows to scroll to Display Settings.
  7.   Press OK. 
  8.   Use the up and down arrows to scroll to Sleep Mode. 
  9.   Press OK.
  10.   Use the up and down arrows to scroll to the intended sleep mode option.
  11.   Press OK to enter your selection.

 

To change the admin password, follow these steps (BN6000N, BN6500N) :

  1.   Press the MENU key.
  2.   Enter the five-digit administrator passcode.
  3.   Press OK.
  4.   Use the up and down arrows to scroll to Device. 
  5.   Press OK.
  6.   Use the up and down arrows to scroll to Change the Admin Password.
  7.   Press OK. 
  8.   Use the keypad to enter the current passcode.
  9.   Press OK.
  10.   Use the keypad to enter the new passcode.
  11.   Press OK to enter your selection.
  12.   Use the keypad to confirm the new passcode.
  13.   Press OK.

 

To view the device ID, follow these steps (BN6000N, BN6500N) :

  1.   Press the MENU key.
  2.   Enter the five-digit administrator passcode.
  3.   Press OK.
  4.   Use the up and down arrows to scroll to Device. 
  5.   Press OK.
  6.   Use the up and down arrows to scroll to View Device ID.
  7.   Press OK. 
    •   The device ID will be displayed on the screen.
  8.   Press OK.

 

To reboot the timeclock, follow these steps (BN6000N, BN6500N) :

  1.   Press the MENU key.
  2.   Enter the five-digit administrator passcode.
  3.   Press OK.
  4.   Use the up and down arrows to scroll to Device. 
  5.   Press OK.
  6.   Use the up and down arrows to scroll to Reboot the Timeclock.
  7.   Press OK. 
  8.   Press OK to confirm your selection.
