Enable Employees to Edit Their Timecards Follow
By default uAttend will not allow employees to view or edit their timecard data, however, you have the option to grant employees the ability to edit their own time cards by configuring the Time Card Edit Rights setting on their profiles. This article outlines how to configure this option for each employee individually.
Notes:
- Supervisors can be configured with permissions to view and/or edit employees. Their responsibility can also be limited to certain departments, limiting which employee profiles they can access.
- By default, employees have view-only timecard edit rights.
- The employee will need access to log in to the web portal or smartphone app to edit their timecard.
To enable an employee to view their own timecard:
- Log in to the uAttend cloud portal with an administrator or supervisor (with permissions) profile.
- Click on the People tab.
- Click on the name of the intended employee or click the magnifying glass icon in the upper right corner of the window to search for an employee.
- Click the Permissions tab from the navigation panel on the left.
- Toggle the slider button under View Time Card to Enable the ability to view the timecards for this employee.
- Toggle the option under Time Card Edit Rights to Enable the edit rights option for this employee.
- Click the SAVE button.
