Punching for Breaks from a BN Series Timeclock

This article will cover how to punch for a Break on BN Model Timeclocks: BN6000, BN6400, BN6500

As an employee, you are able to punch on the uAttend BN series timeclock to start or end your rest break after your administrator or supervisor with the necessary permissions has set up your authentication method. You must have a PIN or biometric authentication method on your profile before you can use a timeclock. You will perform the same steps to both start and end your break. If you have any issues punching or see an error message, reach out to your account administrator to resolve the issue.

To start or end your break using a uAttend BN Series timeclock:

1. Press the B-L (break-lunch) button.
2. Use the Arrow button to select the Break Punch option.
3. Press OK.
4. Authenticate at the timeclock with your PIN or fingerprint.
5. Press OK.
6. Press OK to clear the confirmation screen.
