Test a Fingerprint on a BN-N Timeclock

You will need the timeclock admin and super admin PIN passcodes to access the timeclock menus.  Reach out to the Administrator for your account regarding this information.

To test a fingerprint on the BN6000N or BN6500N timeclock:

1. Press the MENU key.
2. Enter the five-digit administrator passcode.
3. Press OK.
4. Use the up and down arrows to scroll to Employee. 
5. Press OK.
6. Use the up and down arrows to scroll to Test Fingerprint.
7. Place a finger on the scanner to confirm that it is registered and readable.
   • The result of the scan will be displayed on the screen.
8. Press OK if finished or press the Check button to scan another fingerprint.
