Toggle DHCP on Your BN Timeclock

Easily adjust the WIFI network settings on your WIFI-compatible BN series devices (BN5500, BN6400, BN6500) through the COMMSET menu on the timeclock using the steps below.

Notes:

• There are also settings and features to configure in the cloud portal that relate to your (BN5000, BN5500, BN6000, BN6400/BN6500) timeclock(s).
• You will need your company ID (to find your account) and have access to the administrator email address (to receive an activation code) when adding a new timeclock to your account.
• Verify with your IT department that the timeclock has been allowed free communication (to and from our servers) on all ports and to/from all addresses on the lists in this article.

To toggle DHCP on or off on a BN timeclock:

1. Press the MENU key.
2. Enter the five-digit administrator passcode.
3. Press OK.
4. Use the up and down arrows to scroll to COMMSET. 
5. Press OK.
6. Select WIFI SETTINGS.
7. Press OK. 
8. Select DHCP.
9. Press OK to toggle DHCP on or off.
