uAttend Payroll End of Year Process Follow
BEFORE RUNNING YOUR FINAL PAYROLL FOR THE YEAR, PLEASE COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING:
- Note: Your final payroll of 2024 is your last pay run with a check date in 2024.
Email us if any of these scenarios apply to you:
- Updates are needed to employee names or addresses. (Ask your employees to verify these details on their pay stubs).
- You’ve paid any employees in 2024 that are now deceased.
- You have any manual checks that are not already in uAttend payroll or checks that need to be voided.
- You will be paying any special adjustment and/or bonus payrolls in 2024.
- One or more of your employees’ situations has changed.
- We will need an updated W-4 for these employees. Please email us so we can provide a secure way to transfer updated W-4s.
- You have taxable fringe benefits to submit, for example:
- Group-term life insurance in excess of $50,000
- Third-party sick pay (is the third party issuing a W-2?)
- Personal use of company equipment
- Non-qualified moving expense reimbursements
- Company-provided transportation or parking
- Employer-paid education not related to the employee's job
- Non-accountable business expense reimbursements or allowances
- Bonuses
- Non-cash payments
- Check for required backup withholding; verify amounts
BEFORE 12/26/2024, SEND US ALL CONTRACTOR FORMS & ANNUAL AMOUNTS
If you paid any contractors in 2024, and have 1099/1096 information, we will need these forms and 2024 year-to-date total payment amount. Please email these forms and amounts to us.
PROVIDE FEDERAL AND STATE DOCUMENTATION AS SOON AS RECEIVED
If you have received any letters or documentation from the IRS, Department of Revenue or Unemployment offices with Deposit Frequency Changes and or 2025 Unemployment Experience Rates, email them to us so we can update your business account accordingly
UPCOMING CLOSURES
Since there are a few Federal holidays coming up (Christmas (12/25) & New Year’s (1/1), you may need to approve your upcoming payrolls early. Use the table below to make sure your employees get paid on time.
If your check date needs to be moved to before the holiday, please contact support to have your date changed.
