Reactivate A Person Follow
Need to reactive an archived or inactive person in uAttend? Instead of adding the employee, supervisor, or administrator again, you can simply update their existing profile back to Active. This ensures all their past data stays intact and avoids duplication errors, as uAttend does not allow multiple users with the same name or email address. Keep in mind, biometric data for archived employees may have been purged and will need to be re-added. For help locating archived users, check out our article on Employee and Department Archives. Follow the steps below to reactivate an employee, supervisor, or administrator directly from their profile.
Notes:
- Supervisors can be configured with permissions to view and/or edit employees. Their responsibility can also be limited to certain departments, thereby limiting which employee profiles they can access.
- Be aware of the employee range of your price plan when adding and removing employees. You may need to adjust your price plan.
- Refunds are not granted for "unused" features, devices, users, or services. See the End User License Agreement.
To unarchive a person:
- Log in to the uAttend cloud portal with an administrator or supervisor (with permissions) profile.
- Click on the People tab.
- Click the Filter icon
next to the magnifying glass in the upper right-hand corner.
- Select the Archived People/Temporarily Inactive People/All People option from the list.
- Click on the checkbox for the intended person(s) or the magnifying glass icon in the upper right corner of the window to search for a person.
- Click the Edit Status button and select the intended Status option (listed below) for this person from the list.
- Active - Available in the system for profile edits and/or time and attendance tracking (if applicable)
- Archived - Biometric data is purged (if applicable)
- Temporarily Inactive - Biometric data is preserved (if applicable)
- Complete the Biometric Data Disclosure (as applicable).
