Add Job Punches to a Timecard Follow
In addition to employees entering job punches using their punch method, you can also add and edit job punches directly in an employee’s timecard, see below to learn the steps.
Notes:
- You can configure supervisor profiles on your account to allow them to edit timecards for their responsible departments.
- You can configure employee profiles on your account to allow them to edit their own timecards.
- Review job tracking details in the Job Tracking Report.
To add a job punch to a timecard:
- Log in to the uAttend cloud portal as an administrator or supervisor (with permissions).
- Click the Timecards tab.
- Click on the name of the employee from the list.
- By default, the current pay period will be displayed. Navigate to the correct pay period if necessary.
- Click the + icon on the line for the intended date to add an event to the timecard.
- Click the drop-down menu for the Punch Type option and select Job.
- Enter the time for the Job Start and Job End.
- Click the drop-down menu for the Job Number and select the appropriate job number. The Job Name will adjust after you make your selection.
- Add a note (optional).
- Click one of the SAVE button options (listed below).
- Save and Next
- Save and Close
