Caller ID Restrictions for touch-tone phone punching Follow
To provide the most flexibility for you and your employees, your uAttend account can be configured to accept punches via touch-tone phone, update these settings to only allow access from a specific phone number, giving you additional peace of mind.
Notes:
- There is a $0.06 or $0.08 (Toll-Free) usage fee per punch that will be charged to your monthly bill
- You may add as many phone numbers as you like. The punch-in/out by phone will check the caller ID of the employee wishing to use the service. If it does not match, the call will be rejected.
To configure a caller ID restriction for touch-tone phone punching, follow these steps. :
uAttend_settings.caller id
- Log in to the uAttend cloud portal with an administrator profile.
- Click on the Settings tab.
- Click the Punch Management tab.
- Click the Add Caller ID button in the Caller IDs section.
- Enter the Caller ID for the intended phone number to be used when punching.
- Enter a Name.
- Click the ADD button.
