Sound settings (CB5000, CB5500, CB6000, CB6400/CB6500)

As the account admin, you will want to be able to effectively manage the timeclocks on your account.  The articles here are meant to give you an understanding of the features and functions of your (CB5000, CB5500, CB6000, CB6400/CB6500) device(s).

Notes:

• There are also settings and features to configure in the cloud portal that relate to your (CB5000, CB5500, CB6000, CB6400/CB6500) timeclock(s).
• You will need your company ID (to find your account) and have access to the administrator email address (to receive an activation code) when adding a new timeclock to your account.
• Verify with your IT department that the timeclock has been allowed free communication (to and from our servers) on all ports and to/from all addresses on the lists in this article.

To toggle the key sounds on or off, follow these steps. (CB5000, CB5500, CB6000, CB6400/CB6500) :

1.   Press the MENU key.
2.   Enter the five-digit administrator passcode.
3.   Press OK.
4.   Use the up and down arrows to select DEVICE MANAGEMENT. 
5.   Press OK.
6.   Use the up and down arrows to select SOUND.
7.   Press OK.
8.   Use the up and down arrows to select KEY SOUNDS.
9.   Press OK to toggle the sound on or off.

To toggle the voice responses, follow these steps. (CB5000, CB5500, CB6000, CB6400/CB6500) :

1.   Press the MENU key.
2.   Enter the five-digit administrator passcode.
3.   Press OK.
4.   Use the up and down arrows to select DEVICE MANAGEMENT. 
5.   Press OK.
6.   Use the up and down arrows to select SOUND.
7.   Press OK.
8.   Use the up and down arrows to select VOICES.
9.   Press OK to toggle the voice responses on or off.

To adjust the volume level, follow these steps. (CB5000, CB5500, CB6000, CB6400/CB6500) :

1.   Press the MENU key.
2.   Enter the five-digit administrator passcode.
3.   Press OK.
4.   Use the up and down arrows to select DEVICE MANAGEMENT. 
5.   Press OK.
6.   Use the up and down arrows to select SOUND.
7.   Press OK.
8.   Use the up and down arrows to select VOLUME LEVEL.
9.   Press OK.
10.   Use the up and down arrows to select your preferred volume level.
    • Select 0% to turn the sound off. 
11.   Press OK.

To change the voice for the voice responses, follow these steps. (CB5000, CB5500, CB6000, CB6400/CB6500) :

1.   Press the MENU key.
2.   Enter the five-digit administrator passcode.
3.   Press OK.
4.   Use the up and down arrows to select DEVICE MANAGEMENT. 
5.   Press OK.
6.   Use the up and down arrows to select SOUND.
7.   Press OK.
8.   Use the up and down arrows to select CHANGE VOICE.
9.   Press OK.
10.   Use the up and down arrows to select your preferred voice.
11.   Press OK.
