Breaks and Lunches from the uAttend mobile app Follow
As an employee, once your uAttend account Administrator has given you access permissions to the smartphone application, clocking in and out for breaks and meals is a breeze, see the steps below for more information.
Notes:
- The rest and meal break options can not be removed from the web, app, or timeclocks.
- Rest and meal break lockouts and durations can be configured to prevent an employee from taking a short rest/meal break.
- Contact your administrator for timecard corrections and/or to resolve access issues in your profile.
Start a Break or Lunch
To start a rest or meal break using the uAttend mobile app:
- Upon opening the app for the first time you will be greeted by the uAttend logo. If you have already logged in and selected the Keep me logged in option, skip to step 5.
- Enter your 5 to 8-digit company ID and press the NEXT button.
- Enter your username and password.
- Press the LOGIN button.
- Press and hold the Start Break/Start Lunch button until the colored bar around the punch button creates a complete circle.

The app will display a notification with the following punch data:

Punch type
-
Time and date
-
Department
-
-
Add a note (if applicable) to the punch by clicking the Add Notes button.

Tap the X on the top right of the screen.
End a Break or Lunch
To end a rest or meal break using the uAttend mobile app:
- Upon opening the app for the first time you will be greeted by the uAttend logo. If you have already logged in and selected the Keep me logged in option, skip to step 5.

Enter your 5 to 8-digit company ID and press the NEXT button.

Enter your username and password.

Press the LOGIN button.

Press and hold the End Break/Start Lunch button until the colored bar around the punch button creates a complete circle.

The app will display a notification with the following punch data:

Punch type
-
Time and date
-
Department
-
-
Add a note (if applicable) to the punch by clicking the Add Notes button.

Tap the X on the top right of the screen.
