View and Connect to a WIFI Network on a BN Timeclock

Easily connect your WIFI-compatible BN series devices (BN5500, BN6400, BN6500) to your 2.4 GHz WIFI network through the COMMSET menu on the timeclock using the steps below. 

Notes:

• There are also settings and features to configure in the cloud portal that relate to your (BN5500, BN6400, BN6500) timeclock(s).
• You will need your company ID (to find your account) and have access to the administrator email address (to receive an activation code) when adding a new timeclock to your account.
• Verify with your IT department that the timeclock has been allowed free communication (to and from our servers) on all ports and to/from all addresses on the lists in this article.

To view the available WIFI networks on a BN timeclock:

1.   Press the MENU key.
2.   Enter the five-digit administrator passcode.
3.   Press OK.
4.   Use the up and down arrows to select COMMSET. 
5.   Press OK.
6.   Use the up and down arrows to select VIEW WIFI NETWORKS.
7.   Press OK. 

To connect to an available WIFI network on a BN timeclock:

1.   Press the MENU key.
2.   Enter the five-digit administrator passcode.
3.   Press OK.
4.   Use the up and down arrows to select COMMSET. 
5.   Press OK.
6.   Use the up and down arrows to select VIEW WIFI NETWORKS.
7.   Press OK. 
8.   Use the up and down arrows to select your network.
9.   Press OK.
10.   You will be prompted "Do You Want to Connect To This Network?"
11.   Press OK again.
12.   Enter your WIFI password.
13.   Press OK. 
14.   You will be prompted "Is Your Password Entered Correctly?"
15.   Press OK again.
