Authentication for mobile app punching Follow
Follow the steps in this article to access and/or edit the authentication for your employees.
Notes:
- Supervisors can be configured with permissions to view and/or edit employees. Their responsibility can also be limited to certain departments, thereby limiting which employee profiles they can access.
To manage mobile app punching authentication on an employee profile:
- Log in to the uAttend cloud portal with an administrator or supervisor (with permissions) profile.
- Click on the People tab.
- Click on the name of the intended employee or click the magnifying glass icon in the upper right corner of the window to search for an employee.
- Click the Punch Management tab.
- Click the slider button for the Allow Smartphone Punch setting to enable/disable mobile app punching for the selected employee.
- Click the hyperlink for the List of Geolocations option to configure location-based restrictions for the selected employee.
- Click the slider button for the Global setting to enable/disable mobile app punching restrictions for the selected employee.
- Click the box(es) to select/deselect the allowed location(s) for the selected employee.
- Click the SAVE button for the Geo-locations settings.
- Click the SAVE button.
