Authentication for touch-tone phone punching Follow
Follow the steps in this article to access and/or edit the authentication for your employees.
Notes:
- Supervisors can be configured with permissions to view and/or edit employees. Their responsibility can also be limited to certain departments, thereby limiting which employee profiles they can access.
To manage touch-tone phone punching authentication on an employee profile:
- Log in to the uAttend cloud portal with an administrator or supervisor (with permissions) profile.
- Click on the People tab.
- Click on the name of the intended employee or click the magnifying glass icon in the upper right corner of the window to search for an employee.
- Click the Punch Management tab.
- Click the slider button for the Caller ID Security setting to enable/disable touch-tone phone punching restrictions for the selected employee.
- Click the hyperlink for the List of Caller IDs option to configure Caller ID-based restrictions for the selected employee.
- Click the Add Caller ID button to add an allowed phone number to the list of Caller IDs.
- Enter the phone number of the Caller ID for the allowed Caller IDs.
- Enter a Name for the allowed Caller ID.
- Click the SAVE button for the Caller ID settings.
- Click the SAVE button.
