Set a Static IP Address on Your DR Time Clock Follow
As the account administrator, you can set a static IP address on your uAttend DR2000 or DR2500 time clock to ensure consistent network connectivity and support IT configurations.
Before You Begin
Make sure your network settings are ready for manual configuration. You’ll need:
- Your network’s subnet mask and gateway.
- Confirmation that uAttend servers are whitelisted.
- Necessary ports open and port randomization disabled.
To set a static IP address:
- Tap the screen.
- Enter your five-digit administrator passcode and press ENTER.
- Select NETWORK.
- If you are on a WIFI network, tap the network name.
- Toggle DHCP off to allow manual network configuration.
- Tap each field to edit:
- IP Address
- Subnet Mask
- Gateway
- DNS1: Set to 8.8.8.8
- DNS2: Set to 8.8.4.4
