Get Started with uAttend Payroll: Company Setup and Onboarding Follow
Getting started with uAttend Payroll is quick and designed to save you time. By combining time tracking and payroll in a single platform, uAttend helps eliminate manual data entry, reduce payroll errors, streamline employee onboarding, and simplify the payroll process from start to finish. Timecard data flows directly into payroll, helping you spend less time processing payroll and more time focusing on your business.
The onboarding process is designed to be simple and guided. You'll provide your company and banking information, review and sign the payroll agreement, and meet with our Payroll Specialists to ensure everything is configured correctly. Along the way, our team is available to answer questions, help gather important payroll details, and assist with setting up your account for a successful first payroll run.
Once your employer onboarding is complete, you'll be ready to invite employees, manage time tracking and payroll from a single system, and enjoy a more streamlined payroll experience from punches to paychecks.
What to Expect
Getting started with uAttend Payroll consists of six simple steps:
- Click Get Started in your uAttend Portal
- Enter Your Company Information
- Add Your Banking Information
- Review Your Information
- Sign the Payroll Service Agreement
- Schedule Your Payroll Onboarding Appointment
Once these steps are complete, our Payroll Team will review your information and work with you to finalize your setup before inviting employees to complete their own onboarding.
Step 1: Log in and click Get Started
Get Started with uAttend payroll with just the click of a button!
Log in to the uAttend cloud portal as an account Administrator.
Select the Payroll tab.
Click Get Started to begin the onboarding process.
Step 2: Tell Us About Your Company
A prompt to tell us about your company will display, click the NEXT button and enter your company legal information.
Legal Company Name
Business Type
NAICS Code
Legal Address Line 1
City
State
Zip Code
Phone Number
Company Trade Name (DBA) or check box for companies without a trade name
Step 3: Add Banking Information.
Enter the bank account information that will be used for payroll funding.
Required information includes:
Bank Name
Bank Routing Number
Account Number
Account Type (Checking, Savings, Etc.)
Verify all banking information carefully before proceeding. Incorrect account information may delay payroll setup or funding.
4. Review Your Information
Carefully review all information entered during setup..
Click Next to continue the process or Back to correct or update information.
Tip: Taking a few extra minutes to verify your information now can help avoid onboarding delays later.
5. Sign the Payroll Service Terms and Conditions
Review the Payroll Service Terms and Conditions and provide your electronic signature.
If you do not see the checkbox to signify you have read and agree to the terms or if the line for your signature is not available, you may need to zoom out.
6. Schedule an Appointment with Your Payroll Onboarding Team
Schedule a meeting with our Payroll Onboarding Team.
During this appointment, we'll review additional payroll details, including:
- State tax ID information
- Deduction and benefit details
- PTO policies
- Non-standard pay details
Once this process is complete, you'll be able to begin employee onboarding.
What Happens After Employer Onboarding?
Once your employer setup is complete:
- Our Payroll Team reviews the information you submitted.
- Additional payroll details are collected during your onboarding appointment.
- You return to the portal and invite employees to complete self-onboarding.
- Employees receive email invitations and enter their own information securely.
- Your payroll account is finalized and prepared for payroll processing.
