View Accrued Benefit Hours on an Employee's Timecard Follow
Easily track and view accrued vacation, sick, and other benefits directly on an employee's timecard by enabling the Display Benefit Accruals setting in their profile. This article provides step-by-step instructions on how to enable the Display Benefit Accruals feature within each employee's profile. Notes:
- The View Benefit Accrual option is only available for employees who punch in the system. If you use uAttend payroll, accruals are available for Hourly and non-exempt salaried employees who punch.
- Supervisors with the necessary permissions can view or edit this information, which can also be limited to certain departments.
- Employees need access to either the web portal or smartphone app to view their timecard, but they can still check their accrued hours or request time off without accessing their timecard directly.
- Benefit hours can only be applied to an employee's home department.
- Per Hour accruals only accrue when an employee records punches.
- Per Week, Per Month, and Per Pay Period accruals accrue automatically, even if the employee does not punch.
To view an employee's benefit accruals on their timecard:
- Log in to the uAttend cloud portal as an administrator or supervisor (with permissions).
- Click on the People tab.
- Click the name of the intended employee using the search function as needed.
- Click the Permissions tab from the navigation panel on the left.
- Use the slider under View Time Card to Enable the ability to view the timecards for this employee.
- Use the slider button under Display Benefit Accrual to Enable the visibility of the benefit accruals on the timecards for this employee.
- Click SAVE.
