Configure Static Network Settings on a BN-N Timeclock

You will need the timeclock admin and super admin PIN passcodes to access the timeclock menus.  Reach out to the Administrator for your account regarding this information.

To manually configure the network settings (for a static IP/DHCP off) on the BN6000N or BN6500N timeclock:

1. Press the MENU key.
2. Enter the five-digit administrator passcode.
3. Press OK.
4. Use the up and down arrows to scroll to Network. 
5. Press OK.
6. Select Network Settings.
7. Press OK. 
   • If set to WIFI, use the up and down arrows to scroll to Edit Network Settings and press OK.
8. Use the up and down arrows to access the intended setting.
   
   • SSID (WIFI only) - provided by your network administrator
   • DHCP - OFF for manual configuration
   • IP Address - provided by your network administrator
   • Subnetmask - provided by your network administrator
   • Gateway - provided by your network administrator
   • DNS - provided by your network administrator
   • DNS2 - provided by your network administrator
   • MAC (not editable)
9. Press OK to enter your selection.
10. Configure the information provided by your network administrator.
11. Press OK to enter your selection.
12. Repeat steps 8-11 for all the network settings.
