DR Timeclock Settings Follow
Your DR series timeclock comes equipped with a powerful set of features, this article will help you get set up and configure all the settings you need to get your timeclock connected to the network, associated with your account and employees registered and punching.
Notes:
- Only the account administrator(s) can access the Settings tab.
- If you have forgotten the passcodes to access the timeclock menus, they can be viewed on this page. The displayed passcodes are only valid if your device firmware has been updated after mid-2020.
- If you have not kept the device firmware up to date, you may need to perform a factory reset if anyone changed the old default passcode (53178) in the past and forgot it.
To configure settings for a DR series timeclock on your account:
- Log in to the uAttend cloud portal with an administrator profile.
- Click on the Settings tab.
- Click the Punch Management tab.
- Click the EDIT button on the line for the intended DR series timeclock.
- Click the EDIT button on the line for the Name/Location option.
- Enter the intended nickname for this timeclock.
- Click the Save button.
- Click the EDIT button on the line for the Timezone option.
- Click the drop-down menu and select the intended timezone for this timeclock.
- Click the SAVE button.
- Click the EDIT button on the line for the Temperature Reader Settings option.
- Click the slider button in the Temperature Reader Settings section to enable/disable the temperature settings for this timeclock.
- Click the slider button in the Use Default Settings section to apply the default temperature settings for this timeclock or continue with the steps below to apply individual settings.
- Select a Temperature Unit option (listed below) from those displayed.
- Fahrenheit
- Celcius
- Select a Temperature Unit option (listed below) from those displayed.
- Actual Temperatures
- Pass/Fail
- Enter the intended Temperature Lockout Threshold to determine the limit for an acceptable temperature.
- Enter the intended Temperature Lockout Message to be displayed on the device when a temperature reading exceeds the threshold.
- Click the SAVE button.
- Click the OK button to return to the Punch Management tab.
