Register a New User on an MN Timeclock Follow
As the account admin, you will want to be able to effectively manage the timeclocks on your account. This article will walk through how to add a new face template for an employee on your MN series (MN1000, MN2000) device(s).
Notes:
- There are also settings and features to configure in the cloud portal that relate to your (MN2000, MN2000-legacy) timeclock(s).
- You will need your company ID (to find your account) and have access to the administrator email address (to receive an activation code) when adding a new timeclock to your account.
- Verify with your IT department that the timeclock has been allowed free communication (to and from our servers) on all ports and to/from all addresses on the lists in this article.
- Registering a facial recognition template requires interaction with both the time clock and your uAttend account.
- uAttend does not save facial images in our cloud system or time clocks.
- Each employees’ unique facial feature measurements are translated into a cryptologic code, which cannot be converted back into an image, and sent to your cloud account via fortified SSL encryption.
