Exemption Status Follow
This reference-only field in an employee’s profile lists their exemption status.
Notes:
- Supervisors can be configured with permissions to view and/or edit employees. Their responsibility can also be limited to certain departments, thereby limiting which employee profiles they can access.
- Exemption status is an informational field and does not impact any other settings.
To configure the exemption status for an employee:
- Log in to the uAttend cloud portal as an administrator or supervisor (with permissions).
- Click on the People tab.
- Click on the name of the intended employee or click the magnifying glass icon in the upper right corner of the window to search for a person.
- Click the Job and Pay tab from the navigation panel on the left.
- Click the button to select the intended exemption status option (listed below) for this person.
- Non-exempt
- Exempt
- Click the SAVE button.
