Test the RFID Sensor on a BN-N Timeclock

You will need the time clock admin and super admin passcodes to access the time clock menus.  Reach out to the Administrator for your account regarding this information.

To test the RFID sensor on a BN6000N or BN6500N:

1. Press the MENU key.
2. Enter the eight-digit super administrator passcode.
3. Press OK.
4. Use the up and down arrows to scroll to Device Management. 
5. Press OK.
6. Use the up and down arrows to scroll to Diagnostics.
7. Press OK. 
8. Use the up and down arrows to scroll to Test RFID.
9. Press OK.  
10. Place a RFID badge or key fob on the sensor to confirm that it is registered and readable.
    • The result of the scan will be displayed on the screen.
11. Press OK when finished or press the Checkmark button to scan another badge or keyfob.
