Update Fingerprint Template Status on a BN Timeclock

As an account administrator, you may want to verify the fingerprint template status on your BN series timeclock (BN5000, BN5500, BN6000, BN6400, BN6500).

You will need the time clock admin and super admin passcodes to access the time clock menus.  Reach out to the Administrator for your account regarding this information.

To update fingerprint template status on a BN timeclock:

1. Press the MENU key.
2. Enter the five-digit administrator passcode.
3. Press OK.
4. Select USER MANAGEMENT. 
5. Press OK.
6. Use the up and down arrows to scroll to TEMPLATE MANAGEMENT.
7. Press OK.
8. Select UPDATE TEMPLATE STATUS.
9. Press OK.
   • If you receive a "DNS Error" message with a red background, check your network connection, then try again. 
   • If successful, you will receive an "Update Template Status Successful!" message with a green background.
