Job and Pay Information Follow
The Job and Pay section of a profile displays employment and compensation details. The fields shown depend on the profile type (administrator, supervisor, or employee) and whether your account uses uAttend Payroll.
The information in this article applies to accounts using uAttend Payroll. Adjusting job and pay information will be reflected in payroll and will apply to the entire pay period.
Who Can View or Edit This Section
- Admins: Can view and edit all available fields for all people.
- Supervisors: Can be configured with permissions to view and/or edit employee profiles. Access can be limited to specific departments, thereby limiting which employee profiles they can access.
- Employees: Cannot view or edit this section.
Note: Some fields are only available for US accounts.
Available Fields
Not all fields are available for all users. Field availability depends on the person's role and if payroll is enabled for your account.
Job Information
- Job Title
- Home Department (employee profiles only)
- Department Transfer (employee profiles only)
- Employment Type: Contractor, Full-Time, Intern, Part-Time
- Hire Date
Pay Information
- Payroll ID
- Pay Type: Hourly, Salary (payroll accounts only)
- Pay Rate (per hour for Hourly, per year for Salary)
- Exemption Status: Exempt, Non-Exempt
- Timecard Needed (payroll accounts only)

Editing Job and Pay Information
The fields in the Job and Pay section can be edited depending on your role and account setup. Changes made to this section will apply to the entire pay period.
To edit job and pay information on a profile:
- Log in to the uAttend cloud portal as an administrator or supervisor (with permissions).
- Click on the People tab.
- Click on the name of the intended person or use the search icon in the upper-right corner of the window to search for the person.
- Click the Job and Pay tab.
- Update the available fields as needed.
- Click Save.
