Add Punch Widget Follow
Add punches to your employees’ timecards right from the dashboard. With this widget, you can add punches for a single employee or an entire department. Use it for future group events or off-site meetings and tasks.
Notes:
- You can customize your dashboard to enable or disable and rearrange the widgets displayed for you.
- Supervisors will only see data from their responsible departments on their dashboards.
- The Add Punch Widget will only work for same-day punches. Future or past punches must be manually added to the timecard.
- Employees do not have access to the dashboard.
To navigate the Add Punch widget on the uAttend dashboard, follow these steps. :

- Log in to the uAttend cloud portal with an administrator or supervisor (with permissions) profile.
- Scroll to the Add Punch widget on the uAttend dashboard.
- Note the add punch options (listed below) to add a punch using this widget.
- Search Employee - Use to add a punch for an individual employee.
- Group Punch - Use to add a punch for up to all employees in the intended department.
- Enter the name of the intended employee to add a punch for in the Search Employee section and click the SEARCH button.
- Select the intended employee from the search results.
- You can click the View Timecard button to navigate to the selected employee's timecard (if needed).
- Click the Add Punch button.
- Click the drop-down menu and select a Punch Type option (listed below) from the list.
- In/Out - Enter the intended times and dates for the event, along with an optional note.
- Break - Enter the intended times and dates for the event, along with an optional note.
- Lunch - Enter the intended times and dates for the event, along with an optional note.
- Job - Enter the intended times and dates for the event, the job number, and if applicable the job detail number, along with an optional note.

Benefit - Enter the intended date for the event, the benefit type (listed below), and the intended benefit hours to be used, along with an optional note.

- Click the SAVE button.
- Click the drop-down menu and select the intended department to add a punch for in the Group Punch section and click the SEARCH button.
- Select the intended employee(s) from the selected department.
- Click the Add Punch button.
- Click the drop-down menu and select a Punch Type option (listed below) from the list.
- In/Out - Enter the intended times and dates for the event, along with an optional note.
- Break - Enter the intended times and dates for the event, along with an optional note.
- Lunch - Enter the intended times and dates for the event, along with an optional note.
- Job - Enter the intended times and dates for the event, the job number, and if applicable the job detail number, along with an optional note.
