Department Upload Follow
Looking for an easier way to add a lot of departments to your account quickly? All you have to do is have your team prepare a spreadsheet with the basic information for the department and send it off to our team. Compare this method carefully to the add department wizard to determine which option is best for you.
Notes:
- The upload method will ONLY add the department name and department code to your account. All other configurations must be done individually for each department. See the add department wizard method for a more complete configuration of new departments.
- There is a limit of 40 characters for the department's name.
- Allow up to 3 full business days after submitting your upload request for processing.
- Submissions with errors may be returned to you for corrections before processing.
To submit a department upload request:
- Download and open the department upload form from this article.
- Complete the form by entering the required data exactly as it appears in the portal and save the file using a CSV format. Name the file: uAttend_department.upload_<insert your company ID>.
- Attach the file in an email addressed to: support@trackmytime.com.
- If you already have an open support ticket for this issue, you can attach the file and reply with the following in the ticket comments instead of composing a new email.
- Enter the following in the subject field: uAttend- Department Upload Request Include the following information in the body of the email:
- Account name:
- Company ID:
- Confirm the required document is attached.
- You should receive a response within 3 business days.
