Daily Overtime Follow
With this department-level rule enabled, timecard calculations will reflect daily overtime beginning at the user-defined threshold, such as after 8 hours worked in a day.
Notes:
- Overtime calculations settings are configured at the department level. This gives you the flexibility of customizing overtime rules for each department based on your company's needs.
- Overtime calculations must be enabled in order for any overtime to be calculated on an employee's timecard.
- In order for the additional overtime types to be displayed, such as daily overtime (OT1), double time (OT2), and weekend overtime, weekly overtime must be configured.
- Overtime calculations are based solely on Regular work hours, excluding benefit hours such as Vacation, Sick, or Holiday hours.
To configure daily overtime for a department, follow these steps. :
- Log in to the uAttend cloud portal with an administrator or supervisor (with permissions) profile.
- Click on the Departments tab.
- Click on the name of the intended department or click the magnifying glass icon in the upper right corner of the window to search for a department.
- Click the Overtime tab.
- Click the EDIT button on the line for the Daily Overtime 1 option.
- Click the drop-down menu and select the intended threshold (listed below) from the list.
- After 7, 8, 8.5, 9, 9.5, 10, 11, 12 hours
- Click the SAVE button.
- Click the EDIT button on the line for the Daily Overtime 2 option.
- Click the drop-down menu and select the intended threshold (listed below) from the list.
- After 11, 12, 16 hours
- Click the SAVE button.
