Locate a Time Clock's Device ID in the Web Portal Follow
Account administrators can view time clock details and settings in the web portal. This article walks through how and where to locate the device ID in the web portal.
Note:
- Device IDs can also be located in the time clock's admin menu. Search our knowledge base for your model for more information.
To view your devices in the web portal:
- Log in to the uAttend cloud portal as an administrator.
- Click on the Settings tab.
- Click the Punch Management tab.
Your devices and their connection status will be listed based on the device ID.
If your time clock does not appear in the Settings > Punch Management tab or you are unsure which device is which, you can take steps to identify the device ID.
Confirm the Device ID Using a Punch Report
If you cannot determine the device ID or unsure which one it is, run a Punch Report:
- Navigate to the Reports tab.
- Run a Punch Report.
- Click the Punch Methods button at the top of the report.
- Check the box for Time Clock.
- Click Close.
The report displays employee names, punch dates and times, and the device ID for each punch performed on a time clock. Use this information to confirm which time clock and device ID you need.
