Update Software on an RE2000 Time Clock

Keeping your RE2000 time clock up to date helps ensure you have the latest improvements, stability fixes, and device features. You can check for available updates directly on the time clock, and if a new version is found, the device will guide you through the update process. Follow the steps below to review your current software version and install any available updates.

You will need the time clock admin and super admin passcodes to access the time clock menus.  Reach out to the Administrator for your account regarding this information.

To check and update the software version on an RE2000:

1. Press MENU.
2. Enter the five-digit administrator passcode.
3. Press OK.
4. Scroll down once to Device. 
5. Press OK.
6. Press OK to select to Software Update.
7. The device will check for a new version and prompt you to update if a new version is available. 
8. Press OK to update.
