Enable or Disable Key Sounds on an RE2000 Time Clock

Key sounds help confirm each button press on the RE2000, but some environments prefer a quieter experience. You can turn the key sounds on or off at any time from the device’s administrator menu. Follow the steps below to adjust this setting based on your workplace needs.

You will need the time clock admin and super admin passcodes to access the time clock menus.  Reach out to the Administrator for your account regarding this information.

To turn the key sounds on or off on an RE2000:

1. Press MENU.
2. Enter the five-digit administrator passcode.
3. Press OK.
4. Scroll down once to Device. 
5. Press OK.
6. Scroll down to Sound Settings.
7. Press OK. 
8. Press OK to select Key Sounds. 
9. Use the up and down arrows to scroll to On or Off.
10. Press OK to enter your selection.
