Delete a Pay Run Follow
If you need to restart a pay run o run payroll for a different pay period, you can delete a pay run before it has been finalized.
The information in this article applies to accounts using uAttend Payroll. If you are looking to export time and attendance details for a 3rd party payroll provider, please see our Export Preferences and Pay Period Report articles.
Notes:
- A pay run can only be deleted if you have saved and exited while processing payroll.
- Once payroll has been finalized and confirmed, the pay run can no longer be deleted. You will need to request a reversal,
To delete a pay run:
- Log in to the uAttend cloud portal as the payroll administrator.
- Navigate to the Payroll tab.
- Select the pay period at the top of the Payroll widget.
- Select Resume Pay Run if you want to review it or click Delete this Pay Run if you want to start over.
- Click Confirm to delete the pay run.
Once deleted, all saved changes for that pay period are removed. You can then start a new pay run for the same pay period after making any changes to your account or select a different pay period.
