Job Tracking Settings Follow
Make job tracking even easier for your employees by consolidating punching and job tracking functions into a single action at the timeclock. This allows them for example to start their shift and their first job at the same time or to end a job and start their lunch by pressing just one button.
Notes:
- Only the account administrator(s) can access the Settings tab.
- Job tracking options are not available on the Professional series timeclocks (see the features and specifications help file for your timeclock).
To configure job tracking for your account:
- Log in to the uAttend cloud portal with an administrator profile.
- Click on the Settings tab.
- Click the Job Tracking tab.
- Click the Enable/Disable button in the Jobs section to turn this feature on/off for your account.
- Click the EDIT button in the Jobs section.
- Click the drop-down menu for the Entry Type setting and select the intended option (listed below) from the list.
- List - Employee will choose the intended job number from a list
- Manual Entry - The employee must enter the intended job number
- Click the drop-down menu for the Job Detail setting and select the intended option (listed below) from the list.
- Enabled - Allows you to create components of a job (sub-jobs)
- Disabled -Does not allow detail components for a job
- Click the drop-down menu for the First job punch is punch in setting and select the intended option (listed below) from the list.
- Enabled - Employee can start a job to punch in for a shift
- Disabled - Employee must punch in, then start their first job
- Click the drop-down menu for the Lunch/break start/end jobs
setting and select the intended option (listed below) from the list.- Enabled - The job is ended when an employee starts a break or lunch
- Disabled - The job will continue during an employee's break or lunch
- Click the SAVE AND CLOSE button.
