Enable Employees to View Their Timecards Follow
Easily allow employees to view their own timecards by enabling the View Timecard Setting within their individual profiles. By default uAttend will not allow employees to view or modify their timecard data, however, you do have the option to let them. This article explains how to customize this setting per employee.
Notes:
- Supervisors can be configured with permissions to view and/or edit employees. Their responsibility can also be limited to certain departments, limiting which employee profiles they can access.
- By default, employees have view-only timecard edit rights.
- The employee will need access to log in to the web portal or smartphone app to view their timecard.
To configure an employee to view their own timecard:
- Log in to the uAttend cloud portal with an administrator or supervisor (with permissions) profile.
- Click on the People tab.
- Click on the name of the intended employee or click the magnifying glass icon in the upper right corner of the window to search for an employee.
- Click the Permissions tab from the navigation panel on the left.
- Click the slider button under View Time Card to Enable or Disable the ability to view the timecards for this employee.
- Click SAVE.
